WHAT A BOMBER.

 So far 2016 as been the year of the bomber jacket. It might not be as classic as the trench coat but  it is casual and edgy. This iconic jacket is a perfect blend of tomboyish and  street style .

 This closet staple was a runway star. Jonathan Saunders wooed us with their floral  bombers. I fell in love with the Gucci's  space-age metallics and wild bloom embroidery. Hedi Slimane at Saint Laurent did the palm print.

 I am wearing one of the most sought-after bombers .  The Vetements  bomber  will give you an authentic  street and tomboyish style. I wore white shorts and a white top.  I choose to wear a black Chelsea boot. It is very tempting to wear some all-white  sneakers but that would have been super predictable. The blue bag pack and white denim dad hat complemented this urban look.

DRESSED LIKE A PANDA.

 I kept it black and white on this post(i really wanna say a 100). Today we will be talking about my second favourite  pattern trend and the silver shoe trend. I bet you have seen this pattern  around because it's common enough.Let's talk about the gingham  trend. I know when  you see this pattern you can't help but  think of that handkerchief , primary school uniform or kitchen spread. I promise after this post you will rock this trendy pattern without looking like a kitchen table.

  I spotted this trend on Michael Kors'  spring/summer  fashion show and on DVF's runway last year. You can wear this pattern from head to toe,inform of a dress, matching pairs or you can pair it with bold accessories and stripes.I  went to shopping and was lucky enough to come across this long dress shirt. It was the fashion angels looking out for me.  The moment i picked it up i knew just the right outfit to pair it with.

  

Can we all just  agree that this figure hugging cut of shorts(also a major trend) are heavenly. You would be surprised to know that they were once my favourite mom-jeans(weeps a little). I took a cue from top fashion designers and decided to pair my gingham pattern dress shirt with stripes. That is the reason why i wore this crop-top

.

 Silver shoes are one of the top shoe trends 2016.In the past this type of shoe was only worn by bridesmaids or brides inform of heels but it's a new dawn. Designers such as Calvin Klein and Simone  Rocha  have changed the game. I don't think this trend is dying down soon so you better grab a pair.I wore silver loafers from the Zara basic collection .My shoe of choice is  comfy but stylish. They are the best option if you are going to be on your feet  most of the time. Honey there is no glory in wearing heels to a concert or to any event that requires a lot of walking.

The ideal place to wear this outfit to is to fashion events(fashion week),concerts,festivals,shopping or pool parties. The best part about this dress shirt  is you can button up  when you are in public or tie the shirt around your waist when you don't wanna wear it. The dad hat will protect you from sun burns and it gives my outfit an urban look. Pick a beenie for warmth.I made my own denim choker from black denim. If you want a more formal look you can button up the dress shirt, put on some heels, tie a belt and accessorize with some pearls.

FOR A LAZY DAY.

There was a time in my life that the only brown thing i had in my closet was a Louis Vuitton bag. Now I bought so many brown pieces its time i put a stop to it. I was checking out some autumn trends  and noticed brown was taking centre stage in shows like Prada and  Stella MCartney.

I chose this light brown dress.  If your are new to this trend i would advise you to go for lighter colour. You can  also try  something with patterns. The best thing about this dress is that is simple,comfy and you can slip it on.It is the best dress for a lazy day.If you put on some black palms, gold belt and blazer you are ready for work. It's very  easy to accessorize. I wore it with brown boots but wedges would do. I wore a bronze and brown charm bracelet. The glasses add some retro feeling to the look and they look pretty cool.

 You  can  judge a man by his  shoes. I know you might all want to disagree but its a sad truth.More  than 50%  of women judge a gentleman by his shoes me included. Reason  being  most women can tell a man's  personality,financial  status,attention  to detail and taste by just looking at your shoes. So me being a nice person and all. I have decided to help you pick out the most versatile shoe collection ever. The best part is you  don't  have to buy a lot of pairs.Ladies this post will help you pick out his next gift.

Oxfords.

Gents if you are going to pull  out your wallet and hit a store or five . I would highly recommend you to buy a pair of oxfords. It  should  be the first shoe  you buy.The Oxford shoe is the perfect occasion shoe.  It's best paired with a suit  but can also be worn semi-casually(super risky). Get a black pair just to be safe. This shoe is perfect for interviews and time you want to make an impression.

                                                        Loafers.

Loafers  are  a classic. I like to call them sneakers for  gentlemen. Loafers are classic. You  can wear them with any trend  and any sort of material.You  should seriously  consider  buying a pair and trust me it won't be a waste of your cash. You need to be careful  how you dress  them.  You don't want them looking off. You can wear them with shorts but avoid jean short,fishing shorts or safari shorts. The best part is you can wear them without  socks. Try navy loafer  for a formal look .

Lace up boots.
Gentlemen i give you the all weather shoe. You can wear it to the office and later on to the club. The  lace up boot will  be your new favorite shoe. Reason being you can wear it on any occasion. You can wear it with any material. As you  shop for this shoe look for a neutral and one that's cape-toed.

Chelsea boots.
Chelsea boot are not a new footwear trend. Some of the most fashion  forward men have been spotted wearing them.  They are very comfy and you can wear them to the office. You can wear  them with a pair of jeans. For a classic or formal look dress them  with a pant suit.

White sneakers.
Invest in white pair of sneaker. It also pairs well denim. Its a safe casual option and  it brightens up any outfit. It's a classic and it's very elegant.This tennis shoes  will  never  go out of  style. So pull out  your credit card and look for the perfect white sneaker online or  in a store. David  Beckham sure knows how to rock  them.

You  know how things tend to not go as planned. Well on Friday as i was getting ready for a photo shoot. I came across some difficulties and i had to come up with a new outfit ASAP  keeping in mind i was late. So i put my mental breakdown on hold and got in my closet( i later came out. lol). That whole experience inspired me to write this post. So here are 5 most versatile fashion pieces you need. They will save your behind trust me.


L.B.D.

The little black dress is the Beyonce of  dresses.Why? you ask.Well  its all round,you can never go wrong,its easy to style and accessorize  and its always stylish decade after decade. Inspired by the Kardashian and Jenner sisters. I wore a figure hugging black little black dress.

FAUX FUR.

Chanel, Dior, Yeezy are just to name a few are some of the fashion houses that championed faux fur on their runways. This fashion trend has been street style approved by bloggers such as Joy Kendi, and Nancie Mwai. The faux fur vest keeps me warm and got me feeling like a millionaire as i walk out. Again you can wear it with anything. Its the new leather jacket.

 

BAG PACKS.

 Bag packs are back from the 90's. Throw a bag pack  on regardless of what you are wearing. Whether you have heels on or sneakers it does not matter its okay to mix styles. So ditch your bag and pick up that bagpack. If you don't have one look for a unique one and one that best describes your style. I picked a brown louis vuitton bagpack to match my outfit.

SNEAKERS.

 This is not a new footwear trend. However it has been gaining literal ground and popularity with everyone. Mainly because you can wear it with any outfit. From  office wear to red carpet wear. If in any case you are looking for a vacation from your Uber heels. You know the heels you can't really walk in but can be used with a chauffeur in tow. I went for the white and light pink Addidas sneaker because i didn't have a white pair of sneakers.


CAPS(DAD HATS.)

Whether you are trying to prevent that face burn , trying to cover up that nasty bed hair you couldn't fix in time or just trying to give your outfit an urban look  caps are the trendy answer. I don't know what i would do without them. Let's take a moment and appreciate my bomb  sequin cap.LOL. You can wear it with anything. Pair it with pencil skirts, maxi dresses, denim anything and official pant suits.
 Bonus point: buy a black choker because its the most trend and versatile accessory.

I bought a pair of leather pants last month and i was looking for a fresh way to style them keeping in mind that am curvy. For the top i wore a white corset. Corsets are a classic and very sexy but still classy. They also give you a tiny waist. Anyone can wear them your shape and size does not matter. It also showed off my shoulder in a good light

  To keep warm. I wore this leopard print blazer. You can never go wrong with paring animal print and black. The  blazer has this beautiful leather details am in love with. The blazer gives the outfit a sophisticated look and conveniently shelters me from cold as i make my  way to that special occasion.To accessorize i wore a simple gold necklace.Steve Madden heels. They are a classic black so they don't take away from the outfit.This outfit  perfect whether your going out with the girls,going on a date or any event.
